The Toyota Yaris Hybrid will cost less than £15k
Toyota has announced that the 2012 Toyota Yaris Hybrid will cost ‘under’ £15,000, with first customer cars arriving in July. Unlike much of the rest of the world, the UK is not getting the more compact Prius C. Instead, we have a much better option – the Toyota Yaris Hybrid – which we now know will cost ‘under’ £15,000.
You wait, well, days for a new Audi model, and then three come along at once. This trio are the revised A5 Sportback, Coupe and Cabriolet, and the mid-life nip ‘n’ tuck ushers in revised styling, infotainment upgrades, and new engines that reduce fuel consumption by an average of 11%. What’s new on Toyota’s Geneva Motor Show stand? The brand’s biggest news by far was the production iQ city car. The road-going iQ keeps almost all of the 2007 Frankfurt concept’s great packaging – half a metre shorter than a Fiat 500 at 2985mm – but still housing four seats, three for adults and one behind the driver for a child or luggage (there’s no conventional boot space).
